Join us for the 2024 97.1 The Fan Euchre tournament at Hollywood Casino Columbus on May 5. Sign up your team of two to compete. There will be a maximum of 400 teams of two competing and prize money will be distributed to the top 16 teams. Prize money will be determined based on the number of entries.
Each team will play 4 games of euchre which will include 8 hands each game. The 8 top scoring teams from each wave will move on to the finals starting at 4 PM. Every team in the finals will recieve a cash prize.
Tournament schedule:
Wave 1: Registration 11-11:30 Tournament wave 1 11:30-1:05 PM
Wave 2: Registration 1:30-2 PM Tournament wave 2-3:35 PM
Finals (16 teams, 8 from each wave) Registration 3:45-4 PM, Tournament wave 4-5:35.
Prizes: 5:45 PM
Event concludes at 6 PM
The event will benefit The Ohio State Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. Games Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research institute. 50 percent of the total tournament entries will be used as prize money and 50 percent of the total tournament entries will go to the cash prizes.

The mock horse racing event (think of the Kentucky Derby with a yinzer flair) features celebrity “jockeys,” including current and former NFL players such as Ryan Shazier, Ezekiel Elliott, Matt Spaeth, Will Allen, Jim Tressel, and Pat Freiermuth.** It also features great food, music, a live auction and the chance to bet on the celebrity race (last year’s winners split a pot of more than $100,000).

The premier event on Ohio State's fall schedule every year, the Ohio Collegiate Charity Classic started in 2001 and ran for 19 consecutive years before the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Like in past years, the event will occur exclusively at Buckeye Field. Action gets underway on Saturday at 10 a.m. and continues with a total of five games on both Saturday and Sunday.
Division I, II and III teams from Ohio will be making the trip to Columbus, making it one of the largest showcases of softball at levels in the state. Admission is a $5 donation that will be collected upon entry at Buckeye Field.
The Ohio Collegiate Charity Classic has raised over $250,000, making it one of the largest fundraisers for Breast Cancer Awareness month in central Ohio. Proceeds benefit The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at the OSUCCC-James.
