Come enjoy a great family day out where you can compete in a Bocce tournament against former Buckeye Greats, such as Katie Smith!  Don't know how to play Bocce? No worry, this is a learn-as-you-go group of people. You will have amazing food by The Berwick, listen to live music, shop the Duck Pond and bid on fantastic items in the silent auction! 

More than 20 years ago, Jodi and Mike hosted a Halloween party simply for fun. The next year, they turned it into a charity event to support a friend in need. Over time, they named it “Friends helping Friends” because that is exactly what friends do when someone needs help. They began by raising funds to support ALD (Adrenoleukodystrophy), diabetes, and cancer research. Since then, many family members, friends, and colleagues have faced serious illnesses, and sadly, we have lost several far too soon.   With the support of so many generous people, Jodi & Mike have raised and donated more than $283,000. Most of us know someone who is fighting a disease or has been directly affected by one. It will take all of us working together to win these battles, and we could not have made this impact without the support of our family, friends, and colleagues.   There are so many worthy causes, and we are grateful for everyone who gives their time, energy, and resources to make a difference. Medical progress is possible because of that generosity. Jodi and Mike will continue doing their part until cures are found and more people can live healthier, better lives.   This year, they are asking that donations be made to the OSUCCC - Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute in honor of the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer.  Since moving back to Ohio, Jodi and Mike have had the privilege of meeting and working with many wonderful new friends connected to the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer. I’m sure you are asking; how can I help?  You can help in 1 of 3 ways. Attend the charity event on October 24th.  The ask is to bring one of the following per couple/single to be auctioned off. (Your ticket into the event) A Brown bag auction item with a minimum value of $50.00.  Please provide a description/clue on the brown bag for the auctioneer to share with bidders…creativity is the best.   Minimum $50.00 gift card that will be placed on the Halloween Spooky Tree with all the other gift cards.  The entire Spooky Tree of gift cards will be auctioned off at the end of the night.
