You should receive a copy of your invoice via email from one of our Buckeye Cruise representatives. Your information will be submitted to Silversea, and a reservation/booking id# will be created. You will receive notification of that number via email from the Buckeye Cruise office. Your reservation/booking id# will allow you to complete the cruise registration process.

The Buckeye Cruise for Cancer is, and has always been, a non-refundable booking due to it being a chartered cruise. We have listed some options for you to consider should you not be able to sail with us.
1) If you have paid for travel insurance, you will need to start the claim process with Allianz Travel, or your insurance carrier.
2) If you elected to not take insurance, you can do one of the following:
-Transfer you booking to a family member or friend
-Donate your cabin to a Cancer Survivor!
-Sell your cabin to someone you know.
The Buckeye Cruise for Cancer will not resell your cabin for you. You must actively find another person to take your booking.

Proceeds from the Buckeye Cruise benefit The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - Arthur G. James Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute, as well as the Buckeye Cruise Fund a Need project at The James. Some auction packages benefit other specific charitable funds.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany a guest under the age of 21; infants MUST be at least 6 months to sail.

Yes, it must match your first and last name only as it appears on your passport. If not corrected, it could result in possible denial of boarding on the ship and also be subject to a change fee.
All passengers traveling on the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer must travel with a valid US Passport. Your passport must be valid through September 1, 2027. This is a Silversea rule, and there are no exceptions to this rule.
Travel Partners in Dublin / The Buckeye Cruise for Cancer recommends travel insurance for this special charter sailing. All packages for this event are non-refundable. To learn more about travel insurance, visit our travel Insurance carrier's page or call the office, 614-792-6204.
We recommend scheduling your return flight after 11:30am on the day we return to port.

Casual or Cruise attire is accepted for this private charter. Golf shirts, slacks, capris, blouses, skirts, and dresses are acceptable attire for the dining room. Shorts are not permitted in the formal dining room.
We do have a poster for sale with all the participating Buckeye Greats on the ship. That makes for a great piece to be autographed. But you are also able to bring your own items to have autographed. Only ONE autograph per athlete, unless you buy into the autograph session multiple times. We also offer pre-signed footballs and helmets with all the Buckeye Greats signatures on them, so you can skip the autograph sessions. These are available on our Merchandise Order Form.
Yes! You can do a name change at least 14 days prior to sailing. There is no refund for cancellation unless you purchase the applicable insurance.
Yes, please advise the booking agent when making your cruise reservations.
Yes, any passenger requiring medical treatment or attention must be reported at the time of booking. Example-guest using wheelchairs, hearing or visual disabilities, special diets, oxygen therapy and dialysis.

Yes, you can purchase a gift certificate for you, a friend or family member to use as onboard credit toward the spa, casino, gift shops and more. To purchase please call the office to make arrangements, 614-792-6204.
Should the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer be cancelled by Silversea, any booked guest with a current reservation will be refunded. If the Buckeye Cruise occurs and you cancel your trip, you would need travel insurance to cover the reimbursement of travel expenses paid.
All nonfamily children under the age of 18 must have a notarized letter from one parent or guardian authorizing sailing with the family, plus authorization to allow emergency medical treatment and permission to sign waivers on behalf of the minor. The specific activities permitted must be noted on the letter. Grandparents or any other relatives cannot be a substitute for a parent.
Silversea Cruise Line is an all-inclusive cruise. Your alcohol is included in your package.
Silversea is all specialty dining so there are no "set dining times"

No. Irons and steamers are prohibited.
No. But the Silversea shore excursions are highly recommended. Silversea ensures that you will have an excellent vacation experience by choosing their partners, who have a history of being safe and credible.
Guests cannot sail beyond 23 weeks of pregnancy.
