Q: Is there transportation to and from the airport available?
A: Yes. Cruise Transfers can be arranged by calling Blue One Transportation at (813) 226-0022 or visit www.blueonetransportation.com and click on the direct link. Please type “Buckeye Cruise” in “Drop off Location Box” on Blue One Transportation Website. These transfers are available for passengers on Feb 12 from the airport to the pier and on Feb 16 from the pier to the airport.
Q: Is a passport required for the Buckeye Cruise?

Q: Where do the proceeds from the Buckeye Cruise go to?
A: Proceeds from the Buckeye Cruise benefit the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at Ohio State's James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
Q: Which Buckeye athletes / entertainment acts will be attending this year's cruise?
A: Chris Spielman, Bobby Carpenter, Doug Datish, Simon Fraser, AJ Hawk, Kirk Herbstreit, Craig Krenzel, Nick Mangold, Ryan Miller, Mike Nugent and William White are all scheduled to go on the cruise. Stay tuned to the Cruse Activities page details about additional celebrities and entertainment for the 2009 cruise.
Q: Will there be opportunities to get autographs from some of the Buckeyes on Board?
A: During the cruise there will be an autograph / photo session with the Buckeye celebrities.
Q: Can I bring my own wheelchair/walker on board ship?
A: Yes, please advise the booking agent when making your cruise reservations..
Q: Do I need to advise the cruise line of any medical conditions?
A: Yes, any passenger requiring medical treatment or attention must be reported at the time of booking. Example-guest using wheelchairs, hearing or visual disabilities, special diets, oxygen therapy and dialysis.
Q: Can we get married or renew our vows on board the ship?
A: Of course, what a great way to celebrate your special event than to have a “Buckeye Wedding” or “Vow Renewal” during the sailing. It is Valentine’s Day Weekend! Please check with Travel Partners for information.
Q: Can I order a gift, flowers or a fruit basket for someone sailing on this special charter?
A: Yes, you may order an item for a passenger within 120 days of departure with their confirmation number that Royal Caribbean will assign them.
Q: Can I order a gift certificate for my cruise as ship board credit?
A: Yes, you can purchase a gift certificate for you, a friend or family member to use as onboard credit toward the spa, casino, gift shops and more. To purchase go to www.royalcaribbean/giftcertificates or call 1-800-722-5970
Q: Does the name on my reservation need to match the name on my passport / identification?
A: Yes, it must be exactly as on your passport /identification or it may result in possible denial of boarding on the ship.
Q: Can I purchase shore excursions before the sailing?
A: Travel Partners will advise by email when shore excursions can be booked for this sailing. Most generally excursions open up 6 months in advance of the departure. You may sign up on line by visiting www.royalcaribbean.com anytime day or night.
Q: When should I schedule my flight times for the ship?
A: Travel Partners recommends flying in the day before especially if you live in the Midwest due to possible weather problems, if that is not possible, Royal Caribbean recommends the following:
Day of sailing- all passengers must be on board 90 minutes prior to sailing.
Disembarkation- return flights should be scheduled after 11:30am

Q: Will there be pre-cruise hotel accommodations available in 2009?
A: Yes, We are working on securing a site for our “Buckeye Cruise for Cancer” pre cruise hotel / party. An email announcement will go out with all the details as soon as it is all confirmed.
Q: Should I purchase travel insurance?
A: Travel Partners recommends travel insurance for this special charter sailing. All packages for this event are non-refundable. To learn more about travel insurance, visit our Travel Insurance page.
Q: What is the required age to sail.
A: A parent or legal guardian must accompany a guest under the
age of 21.
Q: Can I bring my grandchild or my child’s friend on board the sailing?
A: All nonfamily children under the age of 18 must have a notarized letter from one parent or guardian authorizing sailing with the family, plus authorization to allow emergency medical treatment and permission to sign waivers on behalf of the minor.(Rock climbing)
The specific activities permitted must be noted on the letter. Grandparents or any other relatives cannot be a substitute for a parent
Q: Is there charge for children under 2?
A: Yes, Infants through age 2 will pay the port charge of $109.00 in a cabin that has requested a pack-n-play as bedding for the child.
Q: What beverages are complimentary?
A: Fresh brewed regular and decaffeinated coffee, assorted teas, ice tea and lemonade in the restaurants. Juice is complimentary during breakfast.
Q:Is there shampoo/soap and hair dryers in the cabins?
A: Yes
Q:What is the dress attire for this sailing?
A: There are no formal nights on this sailing. Casual attire is accepted for this private charter: golf shirts, slacks, capri’s and blouses for dining
